A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Henrico, VA, serving K-12 students in a dynamic school setting. This onsite role is a contract position starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year. The position is focused on providing direct speech and language services, replacing previous virtual providers to enhance in-person support for students.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to support students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with district policies
- Participate in school meetings and IEP processes as required
Qualifications And Experience
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) with CCC preferred
- Experience in school-based speech-language services (K-12)
- Familiarity with pediatric speech-language disorders and therapy techniques
- Ability to work onsite full-time and engage directly with students and staff
- Strong communication and organizational skills
